Advertising disclosure

HPR is funded by advertising. Here is exactly how it works.

• HPR may earn a commission when you click an ad or a supplier link and then buy something.
• Every ad is labelled Advertisement (or Ad in the bar at the bottom of the screen) and sits in a tinted box, visually separate from the article.
• Supplier links are marked as sponsored for search engines.
• Ads are placed automatically at fixed points in an article. Writers do not choose them, and advertisers do not see articles before they are published.
• Only suppliers that pass our vetting can advertise.
• Our newsletter may include partner content. It is always labelled, and we never share subscriber addresses with advertisers.
