A 15-amino-acid peptide with a large rat literature on tendon, gut and wound healing, but only three tiny uncontrolled human reports.
BPC-157 has about 30 people in small uncontrolled reports. TB-500 has none yet, though full-length thymosin beta-4 has randomised trials, mostly in eyes. Neither has a controlled injury trial.
Three small trials. Ten years of collected human experience, 16,000 cases. The second is the largest body of evidence on this peptide, and the one almost nobody reads.
One rat study has tested the pair head to head, and the combination did no better than either peptide alone. There are no controlled human data.
Two adults got intravenous BPC-157 on two consecutive days and had no side effects or blood-test changes. That’s all a two-person pilot can tell you.
